Option 1 - Marriage Ceremony Service

We provide a beautiful setting for your wedding ceremony.

We leave the port and travel about 10 minutes to beautiful "Old Brewery Bay" and stop for a quiet service in the shelter of "Millionaires Point" overlooking the famous "Leacock Home" for a top deck open air service, weather permitting, otherwise a main deck level service will be arranged. After the service, we travel slowly for a short cruise back to the pier while your friends and relatives socialize and enjoy a drink.

Option 2 - Dance Cruise

Following your ceremony and dinner, delight your guests with a dance cruise. This is a party dance social; often the highlight of the entire day, where you and your guests can have a great time. Make sure your guests are ready to fill the dance floor.

The main dance party is set up on the main deck and the second deck is set up for guests who prefer a quieter atmosphere where they can enjoy each other's company.

The duration of this cruise does not exceed four hours and we typically set sail at 9:00pm.

Option 3 - Traditional Dinner Reception Cruise

This complete wedding package includes Ceremony Service, Reception Dinner and Reception Dance.

We set sail for the seclusion of "Old Brewery Bay" and the shelter of "Millionaires Point" for the ceremony service. After the service, we head out for a cruise during which a full dinner buffet is provided for your guests. Following dinner, the deckhouse is cleared and the dance floor is available.

The duration of this cruise is five hours long and typically sets sail at 6:00pm.

Option 4 - Casual Steak BBQ Dinner Cruise

This complete casual wedding package includes Ceremony Service, Steak BBQ Dinner and Reception Dance.

We set sail for the seclusion of "Old Brewery Bay" and the shelter of "Millionaires Point" for a top deck open air ceremony service. Following the service, we head out for a cruise during which a sumptuous Steak BBQ dinner buffet is provided for your guests. This is a very casual and relaxed wedding cruise. Following dinner, the deckhouse is cleared and dance floor is set up.

The duration of this cruise is five hours long and typically sets sail at 6:00pm.

Additional Information

Catering

All meals are prepared on board by our personal chef. Please notify us of any special dietary needs.

We do not provide the wedding cake, please make arrangements for delivery.

Licensed Bar Service

The Island Princess is fully licensed with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. Beer, liquor, red and white wine and coolers are available. We will accommodate special bar orders (an extra charge may apply over and above our regular bar costs). Drinks may be "Cash Bar" (each person pays individually per drink) or you may wish to offer your guests a full "Host Bar" (the host pays for the guests' drinks). A 15% gratuity will be added to the "Host Bar" total at the end of the cruise. You may also choose "Partial Host Bar" (a combination of cash and host bar). Alcohol not purchased through our permit is NOT allowed on board.

Payments

A deposit of $500.00 is due upon booking. The full balance is due 14 days in advance of the event.

A credit card number is required on file for any additional expenses that might be charged on the night of the event.

What taxes are added?

HST is currently 13%. On food, there is a 15% gratuity and 13% HST. On prepaid beverages (tickets, host bars, etc) there is a 15% gratuity and 13% HST. Please note there is HST on gratuity.

Officiant

Contrary to popular belief, Captains in local waters cannot legally marry. To marry you on our boat, you will need a wedding official. If the officiant can't stay for the duration of your cruise, we may have to return to the dock to drop him off after the ceremony.

Capacity

The maximum capacity for a wedding ceremony service is 150 passengers but we recommend 100 passengers to ensure everyone can watch the service from a single deck.

For dancing and dinner services, the capacity is 200 guests.

Disembarking

Arrangements for pick up or drop off passengers can be made with notice. 1 or 2 stops back at the pier can be arranged by prior notice.

Decorating

Decorations are allowed providing there are no open flames such as candles. No confetti on the tables or to be thrown. Flowers, balloons, streamers, bows, etc. are permissible, however, only on the inside levels. There should be nothing attached to the railings. We will schedule an extra half hour prior to the scheduled departure time at no cost for decorating. Should you require additional time, there may be a charge associated.

Music

Groups may utilize our sound system for speeches and dance music. Please supply your own laptop or MP3 player. We can also accommodate a disc jockey or a 4 piece band...and room for dancing.

Photography

Wedding pictures are taken on shore requiring a dockage at a set prearrange time. Consult your photography regarding ideal picture settings.

Parking

There is ample parking available dockside for your all your guests.

Restrooms

There are 3 large washrooms available on board; one which is a large handicapped accessible washroom.
