Bus Tour Line Up for 2012
Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks
June 5, 2012 to June 23, 2012

The lifelong search for companionship can serve up many surprises -- this time in the unlikely pairing of Lily, an elderly widow living out her retirement in Florida, and Michael, the irreverent young dance teacher she hires to break up the monotony of her days. Rocky, humourous, biting and tender, the unlikely friendship takes more dips and turns than a fiery Tango, but will this dance ultimately serve up what's missing for the both of them? Note: high-flying emotions and occasional strong language make this gritty and hilarious play suitable for those who have noticed that the dance-through-life is not always in sync. "Just the right amount of humour and humility to make you laugh and cry at the same time" Rex Reid, New York Observer.
Murder In Noirville
July 3, 2012 to July 27, 2012
Do you love a good whodunnit? Are you an Agatha Christie or a John Grisham fan? Well if last year's production of Thumbs is any indication, Orillia audiences love a comedy thriller. This year we are excited to bring the Ontario premiere, and only the second production of Murder in Noirville to date! Peter Colley is one of Canada's best know playwrights having penned such classics as When The Reaper Calls, and I'll Be Back before Midnight. Welcome to Edenvale, a bucolic small town, where the scent of fresh flowers fills the air. After the tragic death of his family at the hands of the mob, Joe Adamante finds himself the new police chief where he hopes to start again. A visit by a beautiful heiress with mob connections, and a strangely sympathetic mayor quickly awaken his cop's sixth sense. Soon there is a growing trail of bodies, but whodunnit? Set to an original score, Murder in Noirville promises to be one of the hits of the season
Mid-Life Crisis Musical
July 31, 2012 to August 25, 2012

Think about it! Growing older, your body breaking down, empty nest, divorce, aging parents...It's a laugh riot! ...well, actually, it can be, once we learn to laugh at ourselves. Two of our most successful shows, Married Alive, and I Love You, You're Perfect now Change, have attacked some but not all of mid-life's crises, but neither nailed it so perfectly as does this 2004 hit of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. For anyone who has been dreading forty, has been deafened by a biological alarm clock, rushed into a room and had no idea why they are there, and for those special few of us who's arms are now not long enough to read a menu, this will come home with a crash. This high energy musical features a great score, brilliantly funny lyrics, and heartwarming honesty. "Brash and refreshing! Clever and Witty!" The Star Tribune
Henry & Alice Into The Wild?
September 11, 2012 to October 6, 2012

Last season, record numbers of our theatre-going family saw Alice and Henry transcend their marital problems in "Sexy Laundry" and came to love them along the way. Well it seems the fun doesn't end there, so we had to bring them back. The sequel puts their vows of "for richer or for poorer", and "for better or for worse" to the test, making the expression "till death do we part" take on a whole new meaning. This summer, find the Sexy Laundry duo in a rustic tent by the lake. (LOL at the OOH is honoured to be one of the first two Theatres to present this exciting new Canadian piece, filled with the witty and poignant writing you've come to appreciate from Michele Riml) Reconnect with our hapless lovers and see if the challenges of downsizing are just too much laughter to bear
